Think about it!
Winter Wrap Up - She said they fail every year, and all she ever does is give speeches to get them started.

Mare Do Well - She throws a celebration for whichever hero comes along, obviously to attach her own popularity.

The Last Roundup - She can't afford to get the city hall fixed so she pressures Applejack to donate a considerable sum of money!

Mayor Mare is clearly a politician first ^_^

I'm waiting for the first page where someone forgets Lyra and she the cold mist come out of her mouth. That's gonna be awesome.
Ooh, and the first time Spike says "Dig the swell hoodie."

Whelp, that was quick.

Lyra sports a mean hoe. Are she and Carrot Top sporting Winter Wrap-up vests in panel two? If so, I'm guessing you got inspiration from bits in the show where ponies wear that while doing yardwork/gardening. Seems like a workvest of sorts. Detail. Detail. Detail.

This really is a literal translation of the entire first chapter, isn't it?

Yes, I'm trying :) I really wana pick up this pace abit faster. at the rate Im going, it could take me a year to finish this first chapter. I really need to pick it up -_-
